Season 1, Episode 1: Ashes of Wolf 359
Posts: 64
In the shadow of the devastation at Battle of Wolf 359, Starfleet has issued a directive that bends its own principles under the weight of necessity: visibility is survival. The Federation does not only need ships—it needs symbols.
From that urgency, the Nebula-class starship USS Genesis has been born.
Construction at Earth has proceeded under extreme priority status. Shipyards have been consolidated, timelines collapsed, and multiple ongoing builds quietly cannibalized to complete the vessel. Warp coils from one unfinished explorer, sensor arrays from a refit science cruiser, even command systems originally intended for deep-space survey craft have been reassigned without ceremony or public record.
Officially, it is called “resource optimization under emergency mandate.”
Unofficially, crews whisper a different name: the stripping of tomorrow to launch today. -
Season 1 Episode 2: The Garden at the Edge of Night

While conducting a long-range stellar survey along the Federation frontier, the USS Genesis, under the command of Captain Marc Steyn, detects an impossible astronomical signature: a stable, Earth-like planetary system orbiting a supermassive black hole instead of a conventional star.
At first, Starfleet believes the sensors are malfunctioning.
But the system is real.
A paradise world exists where physics says it should not.
