Bright and early, David went outside to enjoy his breakfast on the porch, watching the sun rise in the distance. He stopped short when he spotted someone curled up on one of the chairs. He looked closer and recognised the young doctor, though the man didn't really look alright.

The science systems integration lab was quieter than most of Earth Spacedock, though not entirely peaceful.
A low electronic hum filled the room as streams of sensor data moved across the wall displays, translating empty space into colour, distance and probability. At the centre of it all, a wireframe model of the Genesis rotated slowly beneath layers of projected information. Long-range sensors, lateral arrays and tactical targeting feeds all intersected across the hull in a web that looked far tidier on the display than Vireya suspected it would behave once installed.

Max walked into the gym looking for some information. He spotted the chief, She looked to be not breaking a sweat doing something that he would find probably difficult.
"Vi, if you have a minute can you help me with something?"
