| Personal History | K’Ari th’Qarret was born on the Andorian homeworld to a very happy bond group. It had taken several attempts for the th’Qarret bond group to conceive but were more than happy when she was born. K’Ari was mainly brought up by her maternal parents Piria and Shrile as his paternal parents served in Starfleet. When Than and Kin came home they would share stories of their adventures and missions with K’Ari. Hearing the stories as she grew up pushed K’Ari to join Starfleet like her paternal parents. She also was fascinated by travelling amongst the stars. The older she got, the harder she studied with her schooling. She was determined to be the best and smartest. She joined in many physical sports to help her gain strength and agility. When she reached 18, he formally applied for Starfleet academy. Upon joining the academy, K’Ari again threw herself into her studies. She excelled at Engineering, especially propulsion and warp theory and physical training such as hand to hand combat. She made various different friends during his time there. She graduated in the top 10% of her academy class and had chosen Engineering as her chosen field. Rumours were rife around the academy campus with various ships being mentioned for potential deployments like the USS Thelasa-vei or the USS Artemis. Both were the assignments of choice at the time and most cadets in his year wanted either of them. K’Ari had the privilege of being assigned to the Artemis, a Bellerophon Class starship as an engineering officer. After her tour on the Artemis came to an end, K’Ari was assigned to the USS Tolstoy. During her time aboard the Tolstoy she worked hard and diligently, earning herself a promotion to Lieutenant JG, then again a year later to Assistant Chief Engineer. The extra responsibility suited K’Ari and she excelled at her work. She wanted more though, assistant chief engineer just didn’t give her the work load she wanted and became bored. She saw the opening of assistant chief engineer on Starbase 3. This role came with additional duties of overseeing starship repairs, maintenance and refits. |
